Create the amount of Lorem Ipsum you need

Choose whether the amount is controlled by paragraphs, sentences, or words. Enter a number and select “Generate Lorem Ipsum.” The output is rebuilt in full and remains available in a read-only workspace where it can be selected, copied, or downloaded as a TXT file.

The generator uses the familiar classic wording beginning “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.” Paragraphs contain several complete sentences and are separated by a blank line. Word output ends with a period so even a short fragment can be dropped into a compact placeholder area cleanly.

Generation is deterministic: the same unit and amount produce the same copy. Layout variants can therefore be compared without random word lengths shifting the result. No material is fetched from an external generator, and your setting is not stored between visits.

Sentence mode creates complete continuous sentences without extra paragraph boundaries. It works well for modals, product summaries, teasers, and form guidance when natural text rhythm matters more than a precise number of separate words.

Words for fixed editorial sizes

An exact word total helps simulate tightly constrained boxes and editorial briefs. Long output cycles through the classic vocabulary. The setting measures words rather than characters, so visible width still varies with the selected typeface and individual word lengths.

Web design and responsive prototypes

Placeholder copy reveals whether columns, cards, and navigation areas survive realistic content. Test several viewport widths and several paragraph lengths. A component that works only with one unusually short line is not ready for production data.

Typography and print mockups

Unfamiliar placeholder wording makes it easier to concentrate on typeface, line height, and measure rather than meaning. In brochures and presentations it supports early judgments about page balance, whitespace, and hierarchy while editorial copy is still being prepared.

CMS fields, components, and test data

Development teams fill content fields to expose overflow, clipping, and empty-state problems. Test very short and deliberately long values as well as the normal case. Lorem Ipsum supplies disposable data; it does not replace testing real language, links, numbers, and names.

Use placeholder copy deliberately

Lorem Ipsum is useful for early structure and typography decisions, but it should never survive publication. Real content has different word lengths, links, figures, and headings. Replace every placeholder before approval, then test the interface again with final editorial material.
